FOR PEACE AND WELL BEING... Yoga is the science of restraining the mind from breaking into modifications.Mind is a mixture of sensation and feelings , or action and reaction , so it can not be permanent. The mind has a fine body and through this it works on the gross body .Vedanta says that behind the mind is the real self.-----------------Swami Vivekananda

Are you Sattvic, Rajasic or Tamasic?
"Sattvic healing uses Nature, the life force, and the power of the cosmic mind through such treatment methods as herbs, vegetarian diet, mantra and meditation. Health is maintained by sattvic living, which is living in harmony with Nature and our inner Self, cultivating purity, clarity, and peace.
The gunas show our mental and spiritual state: sattva, rajas and tamas.
The gunas show our mental and spiritual state: sattva, rajas and tamas.
Sattva is the quality of intelligence, virtue and goodness and creates harmony, balance and stability. Sattva provides happiness and contentment of a lasting nature. It is the principle of clarity, wideness, and peace, the force of love that unites all things together.
Rajas is the quality of change, activity and turbulence. It introduces a disequilibrium that upsets an existing balance. Rajas is motivated in its action, ever seeking a goal or an end that gives it power It possesses outward motion and causes self-seeking action that leads to fragmentation and disintegration. While in the short term rajas is stimulating and provides pleasure, it quickly results in pain and suffering. It is the force of passion that causes distress and conflict.
Tamas is the quality of dullness, darkness and inertia and is heavy, veiling, or obstructing in its action. Tamas brings about ignorance and delusion in the mind and promotes insensitivity, too much sleep and loss of awareness. It is the principle of materiality or unconsciousness that causes consciousness to be veiled.

we need a glaring light to awake ourselves...
GLARING LIGHT
POEM BY DR. RAM SHARMA
When he was lost
he found filth of all kinds
as he grew day by day
his eyes became dim
slowly and slowly
he went away from the light
dim voice and dim words
mist of illusion of relations...
we are small
our world is small
before Almighty
we need a glaring light
to awake ourselves

Devotion in you...
DEVOTION IN YOU
POEM BY DR. RAM SHARMA
I do not want liberation from sadness
i only desire courage to face difficulties
i only want Thou
i only want to chant Thou
i always want to live in Thou
my difficulties are your blessings only
i always want to meditate in Thou
give me pleasure or pain...
no loss no gain
i am Thou
i am Thou

O! Lord Krishna...
O! LORD KRISHNA
BY DR. RAM SHARMA , MEERUT, INDIA
O! Lord Krishna
Sound of sweet melody of your flute
Every atom of the universe is attracted towards you...
All the Gopis came to your feet
They lost themselves and glanced at you
With the sweet spell of the flute the cows stood mute
It is Krishna—Krishna their friend
All the Gopies danced holding their hands
The moon , the stars in the sky
Love love everywhere , everyone wants to fly
