Dwell, o mind, within yourself...

Dwell , o mind , within yourself
enter no other`s home
if you but seek there , you will find
all you are searching and striving for

I remember you , my village...

I REMEMBER YOU ! MY VILLAGE

A POEM BY DR. RAM SHARMA
I still remember you , my village
Two big ponds at its entrance
Mingling of three ways
Like Ganga, Yamuna , Saraswati
Orchards of fragrant mangoes
Cool, serene Ganges Canal
Chirping of birds, dancing of peacocks
Swinging on the boughs of trees
Loving and playing with trees
Going with our bags to school
Through the dusty , muddy ways
Shinning of sun, moon rays
Celeberation of festivals
Singing of girls` group before Holi
Diwali crackers, Holi fervor
I still remember you, my village

Detachment.. the greatest virtue...

I find no other virtue  better than a pure detachment from all things,  because all other virtues have some regard for created things,  but detachment is free from all created things.  Pure detachment reposes in the highest place. A heart in detachment asks for nothing. Nowhere is there complete rest except only in the heart that has found detachment. -- Meister Eckhart, German mystic (1260-1329)

I live ... so that I may live...

If anyone went on for a thousand years asking of life: "Why are you living?"  ...

LIFE... if it could answer, would only say,  "I live so that I may live."

That is because life lives out of its own ground and springs from its own source..

and so it lives without asking why it is itself living.

-- Meister Eckhart (1260-1329)

welcome the future with more warmth...

Pain makes you to be more strong
Tears make you to be more braver.
Heartbreaks make you to be more wise
So thank the past for a better future
and welcome the future with more warmth---------------Dr.Ram Sharma
